2 years ago I was overweight pushing 260lbs. I was over eating like no tomorrow and had no control. I’m a father of very active children. I would participate in physical activity with them and I was not able to keep up. I would profusely sweat my ass off and had a hard time breathing to the point of passing out. At this stage of my life my wardrobe didn’t fit me properly and I did not feel good about the way I looked and felt to the point where it was hard for me to even look at myself in the mirror. I started feeling depressed.

 

I desperately needed change so I started dieting and going to the gym 6 days a week! Yes there was improvement. Within a year I lost weight and got to 225-230lbs, but I was slaving away at the gym for hours which affected my time with my family.  What's worse is I was eating tasteless boring "diet" food everyday and taking a crapload of supplements.  Another year had passed and I still had the same regimen but I was feeling extremely frustrated!  Although I managed to keep the same weight I reached a plateau and was not able to lose anymore unless I starved myself and spent even more hours at the gym.  I was not ready to do that.

 

An old buddy of mine on social media was posting pics of himself and his clients and they looked fantastic and “shredded”.  But what confused me was he was  still enjoying his favourite foods and drinking a lot of beer and he didn't spend much time in the gym! I was like how the F-ck is he doing it! I was like I can do this too so I started to analyze all his posts trying to get ideas how to do it myself without joining the group.  Ok now I have the information from Gil’s posts! I started tracking my food but I didn't give up going to the gym 6 days a week.  I was like YES I’m going to get out of this plateau and start shredding weight.  Well a few months passed and I was still at the same outcome!  F-ck me lol! I had all the tools but was not able to put it al together so I bit the bullet and finally reached out!!! Sign me up Gil!!!

 

Thankfully I was accepted to the 2018 Summer Genesis group and 12 weeks later I’ve broken my plateau and managed to lose 20lbs effortlessly!  What is amazing is I only go to the gym 3 times a week now and I can eat anything I want with zero restrictions.  No boring food, I can literally eat all the things I love because I know how to make it fit for my lifestyle.  This is completely realistic and sustainable for me and I now have the tools and knowledge to keep this going on my own.

 

Because of your guidance Gil Mesina I can get a smaller sized wardrobe and my confidence is back where it doesn’t hurt when I look into the mirror! Best of all I am able to be active and go the distance with my kids!  You cannot put a price on that!
