Top 10 Myths When it Comes to Weight Loss
What I want to talk about now is my top 10 list of myths I have encountered for weight loss. This is SOLELY talking about losing weight.
"Being healthy" is a separate topic with lots of subjectivity. BUT anyone's version of "being healthy" can easily be combined with a fun, easy and sustainable weight loss plan.
These myths have been disproven by evidence based studies and that's what I like to base the program on. Best of all MT clients and myself have smashed these myths time and time again so there is real world mileage. For references see the bottom of the page.
Diet Related Myths
Myth 3: You need to Eat Clean to lose weight
Myth 4: You will get fat eating carbs or eating late at night
Myth 5: You cannot have alcohol or sugars/desserts as they will stop you from losing weight
Myth 6: You absolutely need supplements to succeed
Exercise Related Myths
Myth 7: Exercise is a guarantee you will lose weight
Myth 8: You need to workout everyday
Myth 9: You need to do cardio to burn fat
Myth 10: I need to do ab exercises to get a slim tummy or abs
