False. At this point, I think you guys can guess why. Once again nutrition again is still the most important factor.
If you enjoy cardio exercises then go ahead and do it. But if you don't enjoy things long running or biking, then there is no need to force yourself to do it. It's not a necessity to lose weight or burn fat. One of the problems with cardio is it can make you hungrier and give you the false notion you can eat more. Many of these machines also guesstimate the calories burned and people think they can eat these calories back.
One exercise I do recommend is walking. It's simple, less strenuous and easy to do anywhere at anytime. In addition, it doesn't make you hungry like strenuous cardio so the temptation to eat more will most likely not be there.
