Day 1: In the Air and Singapore
First stop is Singapore. The total travel time was going to take around 20 hours with stopovers. As part of tradition I always have beers at the airport before leaving.
In the air I was at the mercy of whatever the airline had to offer. Luckily it wasn't too bad. Bonus: beer was free so I had a few cans.
We finally arrived in Singapore past midnight. We took an Uber to the hotel and got a few hours night sleep.
Early next morning we were up exploring the city. We stopped for beers around noon. My wife doesn't drink so these were both mine :)
After a full day of touring and walking 25km (yep you read that right) we stopped of at a Hawker Center for some dinner. Hawker Center is like a big food court with all sorts of authentic local cuisine.
It's relatively "cheap" for Singapore and food was great. I got a bunch of skewers and some rice. A pint of their local draft was also consumed of course.
