False. You can split up your meals any which way you want as long as you eat within your limits. When I want to lose weight I eat 2 massive meals a day. It is only ONE way and NOT the only way. Its all about preference and what you can stick to long term.
So whether you eat 1,2,3,4,5 meals a day as long as you stay within your limit then you will be fine. Do what you feel is best FOR YOU.
