I'm an active person who works out on a consistent basis. However, I also really enjoy eating. In my opinion, food is the perfect companion for any and every occasion. I also have a sweet tooth, and at times can lack self-control. As a result, losing weight can get challenging and frustrating for me.
Over the last few months I've gotten a much better idea of how to achieve my body-weight goals without feeling as though I had to completely sacrifice my enjoyment of food. By simply understanding portions and measurement, I've learned that I don’t have to restrict myself to salads in order to lose weight. Furthermore, I learned how to make the “rules” work for me and my lifestyle. I love knowing that I can have that large meal with dessert and a sugary drink. It’s also nice to know that if I gain a pound here or there, it's no big deal as I know what I need to do to lose it. This change in mindset is a big win for me.
I loved the support system that naturally occurs in the closed group setup. It's a safe environment to share things you may not normally share or just a place to trade tips and tricks. Gil was great providing guidance and immediate responses to my questions. I don’t think I would have been able to achieve this progress on my own.
