I was camping with friends and Included treetop trekking in our activity. Gil joined us for the trek and came back to our campsite to hangout. I offered him food and he said he brought his own. It was an already half eaten wrap. Lol. I looked at him and he said he was trying something different. A few months later I saw him again but this time he looked so different and he had a different energy about him. I asked him, "What did you do?" The rest was history.
I was gaining weight and didn't know how to lose it. I was fairly active and was on the principle of eating often with less portions. Like a fiber muffin in the morning with skim milk, a double chocolate donut before lunch because it looked less greasy, then chicken wrap for lunch, a granola bar as a snack before dinner, then rice and some meat, dessert then cereal before bed. And variations of that with going to burger joints, drinking lattes, getting my dessert on, etc. On top of this I was very stubborn and skeptical about everything. Until I asked Gil "What he was doing?"
Gil worked with my stubbornness and took my skepticism away. With his program, guidance and teaching, I was able to lose 16lbs. You might think that's not a lot. However I literally saw inches disappear from my waist and shirts I had put away in my closet that didn't fit, fit again.
