I would easily recommend this process, but it does take work and commitment. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.  The program allowed us to experiment and eat as we would like and with the use of tools to track our food intake, I have a good idea of a range of foods, and where they fall.

Now I stick to what I know works for ME.  When I do feel like having something different, I just stay mindful. It isn’t a rigid process, because I don’t allow for anything being off-limits.  I have no restrictions. If I find myself at a social function in the evening, as an example, I just think about what I’ve already consumed, and whether I need a little more or a lot more, or not much more at all. I’ve kept it flexible and stress-free for myself, but it all just goes back to being mindful.

Now that I’ve graduated, I’ve been able to maintain where I am thanks to the knowledge obtained from the program - that no food is really off limits, and that it’s really about being mindful about one’s relationship with food itself. I seldom use tools to track my food nowadays; I’ve gotten used to giving myself a “gauge” and not sweating it if I end up a bit over or under.

This experience has been mind-awakening on a number of fronts: food relationships, psychology, emotion, caloric intake.... eating is such a multi-layered activity, and this process helped me understand not just “how to eat”, but also “why I eat (or not eat)”... is it social expectation? Stress? Hunger?

Gil’s coaching was on-point! Loved the style, ease, and consistency. Thank you for your support and expertise!

Very happy with my results!
