The biggest early positive contributing factor during this program was accountability.

Even before the actual program started I lost around 3 pounds just because I actually 'looked' at my food and knew that I will need to report to Gil every thing I eat! That was a scary thought. But Gil surprised me by being a super non-judgmental person and not only that he was so open about his indulgences as well that I felt that finally someone understood what I feel about food.
 

A big-eye opener was the amount of real calories in the food I had been eating. I was off quite a bit and once I saw the total calories I was having each day it made sense to me why I wasn't losing any weight. Then with Gil's guidance I learned how to slowly and sustainably reduce my calorie intake. The mind-blowing part of all this is that when I was eating higher calories before the program I was hungry all the time, while on the program I was eating much reduced calories and not feeling hungry or deprived any more!

 
I am also finally lighter than my husband haha. This program has been more successful than I could have imagined and I know that I will keep going even after it ends!
 

Overall, I strongly believe I have a sustainable formula to eat healthy, fit in my occasional indulgences and continue towards a healthier weight even off the program even when I don't have to be accountable to Gil any more. Thanks a lot for your awesome guidance!
