GRATITUDE POST
There comes a point in time when you have to start prioritizing YOU because you can’t serve from an empty vessel. On top of all the stress I was experiencing in my life, the Pandemic really affected my physical and mental health negatively. And recently when my dad got sick and moved in with us, I realized how precious life is and how HEALTH is WEALTH. Being a nurse, I always knew what it would take to improve my health but sometimes you can’t always do things on your own.
This is a long post but worth the read if you are finding you need that extra push to motivate yourself and start your own unique journey to health! I’m excited to share my heartfelt gratitude for Coach Gil Mesina from Mighty Transformation. Thanks to his guidance and support, I was able to lose almost 30 pounds in 12 weeks - and I did it all WITHOUT exercising AND without giving up the foods I love to eat! Sounds too good to be true right? Well I am living proof that Gil’s approach works and this achievement has transformed my life in so many ways.
Before I started working with Gil, I had been struggling to get my body back in shape. I was feeling lost and hopeless, having gained so much weight during the pandemic that my body was deteriorating. I was working at home, endlessly snacking, eating food for comfort and working long hours without any activity. I found exercise difficult because with the weight gain, I was experiencing severe joint pain in my back, shoulders and knees along with recurrent migraines and my motivation to do anything was next to nothing. I knew I needed help, and Gil was there to provide the individual attention and care I needed to make meaningful changes in my life.
What impressed me most about Gil was his genuine care and interest in my success. I don’t know how he managed to do it with so many clients and his own family, but he took the time to understand my situation and tailor a customized program that worked for me, and he was literally ALWAYS there EVERYDAY to offer encouragement and support whenever I needed it, from advice on what I was eating to individualized personal videos commenting on my progress. His coaching was completely online (so he has clients all over the world!!!) yet he was connected to me daily to help me achieve my goals in a way that was sustainable and effective. I never felt judged or criticized - only supported and empowered to make positive changes in my life.
But beyond the physical changes, I also feel healthier in mind, body, and spirit. Gil’s coaching provided me with tools and strategies to help me establish the right habits and routines to maintain my health and continue to make progress towards my goals. He has helped me develop a more positive mindset and a greater sense of self-confidence, which has had a ripple effect throughout my life. I feel more motivated, energized, and alive than I have in years. As a nurse, I know the importance of good health, and I can confidently say that Gil Mesina is a true expert in this field.
