positive review I was at that point in my life where I was slowly accepting that losing weight will forever be a struggle for me. I was so lost, I tried everything but to my dismay, nothing worked. Living with hypothyroidism is not of any help as well plus the weight I gained from my pregnancy & all the retained weight postpartum. I started feeling bloated and I have aches all over my body due to unwanted weight. I knew that I needed to lose all these to find my way back to my happy self.
When I saw a post from my niece that she as well lost some weight, I was instantly curious on how she did it. Coz for one, I knew she was very busy with her career & her studies. I can very much relate because I also am juggling a full time job plus my growing family with a very energetic and clingy toddler. Good thing my curiosity led to a very big opportunity for me. She introduced me to Mighty Transformation — to coach Gil.
Coach Gil, you are a blessing to me and to all the people you have guided with this journey. Your guidance led me back to the path that I have been looking for, for so long. Moreover, my relationship with food has never been this good and finally I am eating without restrictions and without hesitation. You showed me the tools and guided me how to use them. The things you taught me will be embedded within me and will be paying forward to help everyone around me as well.

It’s not one of those extreme diet programs, nothing too strict, no dictating of what to and what not to eat, most of all, nothing too drastic. It’s more on proper guidance on how you can make your relationship with food fit better with your preferences and lifestyle and gradual changes.

positive review I was very skeptical about this program when I first heard about it. My best friend recommended it after completing the 12 week program and was very successful and excited to share his progress with me.
The proof is in the pudding (high protein pudding, right Coach Gil? Lol!) as they say. Not only did he have a new excitement about his weight loss, but about the new changes he'd made and the positive relationship he developed with food. How could I not give it a try?
Today I am apart of the same 12 week program, in week 4 of 12. Working with a great group of 25 women also striving to make change in their life, health, relationship with food. I have a healthcare background and the weekly lessons and tasks have been eye opening even though I technically know some of this information. The program has been amazing thus far and I can't wait to finish. I know that I will be successful in the program with the help and encouragement of the women in my group and the most supportive and encouraging coach. positive review I highly recommend my coach, Gil Mesina. I joined his Women's Winter group last month. I have been under his guidance for three weeks, and I have already learned so much. He cares about each of his clients equally and provides the information to help us succeed in this journey of becoming healthy. He is patient and professional in his dealings with each of us. This is exactly the kind of program I was looking for. He has a gift and intelligence about how each of our bodies works, so we get the best results. I am thankful that one of my friends on Facebook shared her transformation last year, and I decided to try. I am glad I did. Although I haven't seen much change in terms of my body measurements and weight, I know that I am feeding my body with the right foods every day. positive review I’ve tried other programs in the past and was successful in losing weight, but Gil has truly taken my understanding of nutrition to the next level. positive review I had done the MT program back in 2017 which was a great eye opener for me to see how much I was actually consuming. The program got me to a weight & state that felt more like myself and I was able to keep up with the habits long after the program was done.
But after the pandemic I found myself stepping back into old habits, eating out of boredom and putting on some weight.
So, this year, when I decided to also embark on my 1st salsa dance competition in Oct 2024, I decided that I would do the Genesis program again to get me back to better habits. But this time around, I really enjoyed the program because I felt like I was able to create it as part of my lifestyle. I wasn't as restrictive as my 1st time around, and allowed myself to go out and enjoy, but had the skillset to come back to my consistent habits.
When I completed the program I had lost almost 16lbs, but more importantly I felt more comfortable in my skin and felt great while wearing my salsa dance costume!
If you want to create a healthier you, I would not hesitate to recommend Gil and this program!

positive review Gil Mesina is amazing. In the 12 weeks that I was part of this group, I not only lost weight, but more importantly - my blood work came back much improved. I was waiting to write this review because I wanted to get my physical done. I am a vegetarian woman (no eggs either), and I have been constantly low in iron and B12. I was always pushed to take the supplements. During the 12 weeks, I didn’t give up any food, but followed Gil’s teachings and ate well. I still had my sweets, and my Indian food, but because of the tools that Gil provided, I incorporated new habits. My iron and B12? Up where they should be!! And absolutely ZERO supplements taken (I am just poor at remembering). My doc was super happy. This isn’t a quick weight loss program, that’s just a great side effect of learning what works for you, learning how to eat and NOT deprive yourself of anything. I highly recommend!

Gil is such a patient and kind weight loss coach - he gives you the tools to make changes and tweaks to your daily food choices so that not only can you lose weight eating the foods that you love but you can keep the pounds off once the program is over.
Think of Gil’s program as an investment in yourself , because it works and in my case where countless other methods had not worked. It was eye opening to me where I had been going wrong with my healthy eating and just a few minor changes ( suggested by Gil) had the inches falling away and my clothes fitting in a way they hadn’t for a couple of years. All this with a stressful travel schedule and a number of food focussed events.

positive review I highly recommend Mighty Transformation (MT) by coach Gil Mesina. This program changed my habits of eating. I lost weight and I get to eat my own ethnic foods. I had my AIC and cholesterol up before I started the program but within one month of staying in the program my A1C and cholesterol levels have improved, I also have more energy and the best part, my husband also lost weight in the process. positive review Before COVID I had a great diet and exercise routine that had worked for me for years.
Since then, I have had 3 failed years of trying to get back on the wagon. The difference is that this wagon no longer worked for me.
Coming into this program was taking a step back to deconstruct the years of crash dieting, gym myths, timing of meals, etc. This was a reset button to start eating food and drink (any food or drink) the right way, and building a healthy relationship in the way I think about that food.
I have met my goal of losing 10lbs on this program, but this is only the beginning of a lifestyle change that will continue on.
Thank you Gil and also thank you to the ladies that were on this journey with me. This was a great experience and it is highly recommended to those stuck on some old habits that no longer serve them.

positive review This program has really made me a believer in not relying on a number on the scale. We use it as a "goal" to get to but the best part is the journey & seeing other things change for the better. Nutrition has always been the biggest challenge for me (as with most people), but I've always been consistent with going to the gym at least 3-4 days a week.
Gil was such a fantastic coach. He was able to provide us the knowledge & practice in such a way to apply it to our everyday life. In this program, I was able to eat freely, but knowing that spikes in weight happened along the way and I was fine with that.
Knowing how to eat better, not feeling guilty of what I was eating and how to better incorporate those foods I enjoy in a more healthy sustainable way, has made me appreciate what this program has taught me. My journey isn't over, as this is the beginning of a new lifestyle!

positive review Before joining Mighty Transformation I was at my heaviest weight, always tired and emotionally drained. When I finally decided I was ready to try and lose weight (again) I was introduced to Gil, who decided to take a chance on me and let me join last minute. 12 weeks later, looking back, it was the best decision I’ve ever made.
This surpassed being a weight loss program. This changed my whole lifestyle. I learned so much about how to eat, my favourites being how to eat MORE and still lose weight and having go-to meals that are quick and easy to make. But his program didn’t stop at food, he taught me how important it is to connect with myself (rating my day, remembering my “why” and focusing on BAMS).
I finished the program down 19lbs, 4.5” off my waist and with a heavy weight lifted off my shoulders. With the information he provided and the daily guidance I received from him I was able to finally learn how to eat without worry or stress. To me, this was a healing journey, with food and myself, that made such a big impact it trickled down to my kids and the family I live with.
I would 100% recommend this program to anyone looking to make a lifestyle change and lose weight. Thank you Gil for sharing your knowledge and being a great coach!

First off ... if you're on the fence ... just do it!! This was the BEST investment in myself I have ever made.
I didn't come into this looking to drop tons of weight, the weight loss (which was 10lbs in 12 weeks) was a happy bonus. My goal was to educate myself on what works for my body and repair my relationship with food after years (and years) of yo-yo dieting.
Gil's approach to nutrition is sustainable, honest, realistic and most importantly EFFECTIVE!! His support is second to none and his gentle nudge without judgement makes the entire process seamless.

positive review I saw Gil from a friend’s post and reached out. I was at a point where medications, exercise and dieting is not working. My weight loss is not as much as most of the programs I have tried, however it offered a different perspective that is sustainable. The weight loss program I did with him allowed me to live my life. positive review Gil Mesina I wanted to take a moment to highlight the brilliance of your program and the MIGHTY difference it has made for me!
You really did cause a MIGHTY transformation for me, and the incredible part is that it had to do with so much more than just weight loss. Overall, in just twelve weeks, I lost 3.5 inches - 3.5! - throughout my body and I'm down from an XL/L to a L/M. And that's still not the best results! What you helped transform was a new healthy and happy relationship with my body and especially with food. I fully enjoyed foods that were once taboo & that I hadn't eaten in years, in some cases decades - hamburger & fries, pastas with cream sauces and, most especially, red wine! I've stopped my emotional eating habits and I now eat for pure pleasure and with joy. I know how to use macronutrients (protein, fat, carbs) and protein loading to stay satiated all day long without cravings and binge eating. I now enjoy salad, veggies and fruit as a main part of my diet. You have transformed my psychology & habits around food!
Then there are the multitude of Non Scale Victories! I look forward to social situations and I'm no longer afraid to nibble and snack. I stopped hiding underneath jogging pants & t-shirts and I've enjoyed wearing dresses that show my legs and shoulders. I've developed the habit of meal prepping and shopping for the best nutrition. I learned how my body loses weight - inches first before lbs. I improved my overall mindset and now have more energy & aliveness. I started to become more regularly active with walks, treadmill and weight training. I had the energy to take on other major projects in my life, like decluttering my house. My body has been better able to fight colds & other seasonal illnesses. I've been better able to manage a depressive mood disorder with regular feelings of joy and an elevated mindset.

positive review First the program is very intuitive and Gil’s adapts it to each one. We do small changes keeping the things you love the most in a way that is accountable and conscious.
Because the things you love are there it does not feel like a diet, because it is not.
It is a lifestyle of learning how to choose and balance things out in a way you can still enjoy everything.
Second, Gil is very patient. Very slowly he introduces information and always gives you tips and alternatives he believe you might enjoy base in your previous choices.
Third, It does not only focus in food but also in other subjects that are very important in the way you perceive your day.

positive review I never thought this program existed until my friend posted his transformation on FB . I inquired about this program and I spoke with Gil Mesina 3 days later and I signed up right away. This is my last week in the program and I cant thank Gil Mesina enough for everything. My life changed, not only I am down to my weight from 8 years ago, I am sleeping well without meds. I have not had sleeping pill for 11 weeks! The coaching is on point, very simple, easy to follow and I eat what I like!!! I went to my MD this morning for my annual check up and my doctor asked me what I was doing right because he is so happy with my weight loss and BP, he plans to discontinue my BP meds in a month if I consistently do this progress!! Joining this program my goal was for my A1C to go down below 6.1 because I am prediabetic, I never thought It fixed my hypertension as well!!My labs was done and result is still pending! But I am pretty sure it will be fantastic!!Gil Mesina you are a miracle worker Sir! I have been on this Blood pressure medicine for 3 years considering Im a nurse, my own knowledge didnt helped me at all for the last 3 years! Trust me I did everything I can to get off this medicine. Gil has created a program that allows you to easily understand and implement the tips and tricks that keep you full and satisfied all while losing weight. I was referred to Gil by a friend who had gone through his program with great success. After having a chat with her I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad that I did. I am in perimenopause and that dreaded tire around my waist seemed to appear overnight. All of a sudden my pants weren't fitting and I could see my puffy belly. I told Gil that I was quite concerned about feeling hungry on his program - I don't like that feeling and get "hangry" quite easily! He assured me not to worry and that I would learn how to eat the right foods to keep me full and satiated. I was a little skeptical at first as I didn’t understand how I could achieve results without a ‘restrictive’ diet and excessive working out (which is was what I was used to). That quickly changed when I found out that the word restrictions is not in Gil’s vocabulary 😆 this program is well worth the investment in yourself!!

positive review I was motivated to join when I saw a good friend post a picture of herself. I made a comment on how great she looked and she told me all about Gil and Might Transformation. Although I didn’t meet my weight goal, I still came out extremely happy because of the non scale victory. I liked Gil’s approach as it wasn’t really a diet. I can still eat the food I like. I just have to be mindful of how much I consumed. The hardest part for me in the beginning was going out to eat. positive review I lost 25 pounds and 5 waist inches from both Gil's Genesis and Summit programs. But most importantly, I maintained my weight and my workout routines after the program. And I still eat what I love...especially French pastries.
I joined Gil's programs because my doctor kept on telling me that my Body Mass Index (BMI) was high – not healthy for my height and weight. I was technically OVERWEIGHT – even though I looked thin before the programs. My cholesterol level was also high. I was a walking time bomb, waiting for a heart attack or stroke to happen.
I said to myself, it is about time! I needed a change. A sustainable change.

I wanted to have a healthy lifestyle for me to be healthy at an old age. I want to live beyond 90 years old with still an active, healthy lifestyle. I want to travel for the rest of my life. I want to hike in the mountains and walk in the cobblestone streets of Europe even when I am old.

Therefore, I joined Gil's Genesis program. Then, a couple of months after the program ended, I joined the Summit program. The Genesis program was focused on healthy eating without feeling deprived of my favorite foods. With the Summit program, I developed a consistent workout routine but still maintained the healthy eating habits I learned from the Genesis program.
Looking back with the two programs I completed, I now feel better whenever I see myself in the mirror.
My friends also tell me that one thing noticeable with me was my flat tummy. I obviously had a beer belly before the program. Losing 5 inches in my waist was a big thing for me. We all know that a high waist line is a risk factor for cardiovascular diseases.
I also used to feel insecure whenever I go to the gym to workout. Now, I can workout with the muscular people at the gym and lift weights as heavy as theirs.
Finally, I am feeling confident that I can maintain my healthy eating habits and the consistent workout routine I developed from the programs. To me, this is the most important thing - to maintain healthy habits - because I want to live longer and healthily.

It’s not easy, not by any means, but Gil gives you the tools, confidence and coaching to achieve things you didn’t think you could. I started this program somewhat half believing it may be just another fad thing, but Gil quickly made me realize that all he built up about the program was true. He has taught me sustainable habits that have made a huge impact on my outlook on myself and my relationship with food. Over the course of 3-4 years, I’ve tried unsuccessfully to lose 5-6 pounds. It didn’t sound like a lot but it’s been a struggle. My wife and I had tried variations of dietary challenges before and the final outcome was great, however it was short lived.As the dietary restrictions were gone after the challenge period ended, it was all but too easy to fall into the same eating routines from before. which led to basically where we started off weight and appearance wise.
This is where Gil's program differs. It ISN'T a strict diet for 12 weeks, or diet at all which involves cutting out everything you love to eat or working out almost every day.
Mighty Transformation is a 12 week program of learning the skills and more importantly understanding how you can make your eating habits work for you, while still being accountable, but also enjoying some of the same foods you love.
Gil was always available when we had questions and was always on top of making sure we didn't just follow the plan, we understood it.
Unlike other diets or restrictive eating programs, Gil's program has made it so we don't even know how to go back to our old routines, we just enjoy how we eat now and it works.
If you are looking for something different than just a new diet, this program is strongly recommended.

At first I was skeptical because at that time I’m not sure if I can commit myself fully into doing it. Months passed and I still have the same weight, I guess more. positive review To sum it up, I recommend everything about Gil and MT. Unlike many, I didn't try everything I could to lose weight because to be honest I was complacent. The weight crept up and before you knew it, I was not satisfied with the person in the mirror. I knew exactly who to reach out to for assistance and I consciously and without hesitation chose to invest in myself and my future. This post is long overdue because frankly, there are too many amazing things about this program to sum it all up in 1 paragraph! Anyone can count calories, anyone can reduce the amount of food they consume, but not everyone will hold themselves accountable. This program forces you to look within. Gil and the team will challenge you and encourage you into a new way of thinking. The insight from Gil and the others is not only helpful, but it is sustainable. It has drastically changed my relationship with myself and with food. Now, I value my health and long term goals over indulgence. That is not to say I never lapse and enjoy a good refeed now and again....but now I have the tools and skillset to get back on track. During the 3 months I spent working with Gil and our group, I lost approximately 17lbs. Another 3 months have passed and I have lost another 4lbs on my own. Shopping has never felt so great!! Before I signed-up, I was a bit skeptical, but I saw all my salsa friends who went through the program and got great results.
Gil Mesina is an amazing coach, he was patient and always available to answer any questions. He didn’t pressure or force me into doing anything I wasn’t comfortable with. All Gil did was nudge me in the right direction, it’s up to me to walk in that direction.
Using Gil’s cheesy analogy, I’m the captain on the ship, he’s just a navigator, I still decide where to go. Even if I took a couple of missteps, Gil was not there to remind me about it, but just to recommend how to get back on track.
As Gil says in his ads, there are NO RESTRICTIONS at all, you can eat whatever you want, there are no fancy gimmicks at all. Gil will work with whatever situation / environment you’re in.
The program is not really about weight loss (that’s the easy part), but it’s about how to setup your habits and environment to live and sustain a healthy lifestyle. This knowledge goes beyond after the program is over.

positive review Learning the A-B-C-D of food helped me to appreciate what i eat. Gil Mesina taught me that i can enjoy even my favorite chips and treat it as my treats and not junk. positive review After having 2 kids, I was on a mission to be as healthy as I could be - for both my family and for myself! Especially since the pandemic wrecked havoc on our eating habits. After hearing about the program from Susan Lee and seeing her amazing results, I hmm'd and haa'd about it for a good 6 months, trying different programs and "hacks" on my own (from Noom, to expensive meal plan kits, to gut detoxes and more!) - all of which didn't stick.
I never thought I'd have to learn how to eat and fuel my body properly, given I used to be in the fitness industry. My only wish is I had connected with Gil Mesina earlier and INVESTED in myself earlier! Through this program, my goals were to build sustainability eating habits (less sugar, less processed foods and takeout), live a healthier lifestyle, lower my risk of diabetes (family history and borderline pre-diabetic).

I was frustrated that I couldn’t keep the weight off, I was tired of the yo-yo effect of weight loss and weight gain and I was tired of restricting myself from so many foods that parties and the busy day of life gave me anxiety over the limited choices of food I can eat.
When I decided to invest in myself, I joined MT and met my coach Gil who gave me daily support, guidance and cheered on my progress as well as my set backs.
He taught me how to eat to fit my lifestyle without deprivation and still lose weight. I ate more variety of foods, including chips 😮, and never felt like I was missing out.
The knowledge you get from Gil and his weekly teachings and challenges will set you up for success. I am currently on week 8 of this program and I can’t recommend it enough.

positive review I’ve never really been a person that joins a “weight loss program” or get a gym membership to lose weight. It’s not really motivating enough for me to do it on my own. But when I came across Mighty Transformation after seeing 2 of my friends complete the program, I was really really intrigued. Then I met Gil. There is no other program out there that helps you achieve your goals like MT. After completing their 12 week program I can honestly say that I have changed physically, mentally, emotionally and physiologically. And I can thank Gil for that!

positive review Mighty Transformation could also be called "Magic Transfotmation" even though there isn't any trickery to the program. It was magical to me that I could eat exactly what I wanted (yes, ice cream, cookies, pasta, burgers) over 12 weeks and lose 19 lbs.!!!! I never felt hungry or deprived or think of certain foods as "bad". In fact I have eaten more butter in 12 weeks than I have the past five years. I am so happy to fit into clothes and wear rings I haven't worn in ages.

There are weekly videos we receive.. its very inspiring & calming to listen to Gil encouraging us on. Never critical or judgemental. Patient & understanding with quiet calm.
This was a transformation for me. I never regarded it as a Weight loss program. it wasn't. I ate what I like. Our local cuisine is packed with oil & spices & carbs yet I managed to still consume these delicacies. Its all about educating ourselves with the tools & knowledge imparted.
In essence, I ate and I shed lbs along the way. No self deprivation. No heavy exercise.

positive review There are many fad diets and lean programs out there that we all have come to try. We must admit those were all good at the time of joining. However, as time goes by and being a busy, active mom of 4 kids, most of us tend to fall off that cycle that we just learned. Who wants to continue meal prepping, limiting our food selection and drinking no alcohol?
Mighty Transformation is unique as one of its main focus is sustainability. It has changed my perspective with food and what we consume. It allows us to eat whatever we like and promotes drinking beer while on the program. Gil sets you up on the road to success and continued success there after.
Although this program is not one on one, it did make me weary at first. Having done this program with 30 other ladies has helped motivate me during those 'highs' and 'lows' we experience. We had the ability to learn about each other, compare and even create special bonds with one another. Gil does a tremendous job each and every week doing personal videos for you that makes you feel like you are in those one on one sessions that we so desire when looking for a program to join. In addition, he is always available with his prompt responses never making you feel you are alone.
This experience was an amazing journey not only for me but for my family. We all took part and learned valuable information that will help continue with our healthy and active lifestyle. As we continue, this will have an impact to my children's upbringing and they too can pass on to their next generation. To know that we could be adding more years to our life is an investment in itself and this is what Mighty Transformation is about.

I whole heartedly recommend Gil and Mighty Transformations for every woman out there...literally every woman would benefit from this program regardless of your size or physique.
Gil is excellent at what he does. Although this entire program is over the internet, you instantly form a level of trust and understanding with Gil. He works hard to get to know each client and understand who you are and the challenges you face. He really does care about you. He cares about how your day is going and about how you are feeling through out his program. He wants your success as much as you do! His level of detail and dedication makes you feel like you are his only client. He is there for you 24/7. You don’t just have one interaction with him a day, there are literally multiple points of contact a day that keep you motivated and inspired. He is there, teaching, guiding, encouraging and celebrating with you at every turn.
I think the thing that I found most unique about this program is the safe and supportive environment Gil creates. We were a team of 32 and we each had our own goals and routes to get there, but Gil really brings you together to make you feel the strength in unity. Although we were all strangers spread out across the globe, we came together for 12 weeks to form a very special bond. We shared many laughs along the way and the amount of support and encouragement you get from the group ensures you keep coming back and wanting to be your best self.
This program is not one that is catered to a certain type of person or physique. It speaks to all women, of all backgrounds, in different parts of the world, and in different phases of life. All you have to do is show up. Each one of us had our own challenges which Gil dissected, unpacked, assessed and helped us better our relationship with food. For the first time in a very long time, I felt complete control of my eating habits and nutrition. The best part of this was the ripple effect it had on my family. My husband also lost 13 pounds just based on the changes I made with our meals. Even my kids were heavily involved and were so fascinated by the different tasks I had each week.
When I started MT I viewed it as a weight loss program. But within the first week, I realized that it’s so much more than that. It’s a course. A course on something we all do every single day...EAT. I started to think, I’ve spent so much time and money at continuing education in my professional field, how is this any different? Educating myself about food and what I put into my body is more than just weight loss, it’s about living a healthier life. And yes, of course I thought I could just read about it in a book or really do a deep dive on Google to find out what I should and shouldn’t eat, but Gil’s approach is like no other. It is worth the investment. You are worth the investment.
I’ve done it all..Keto, paleo, intermittent fasting, you name it. I would get results, but I would always burn out and go back to my old habits and lifestyle. With MT you get to enjoy all your favorite foods...there are literally no restrictions. Nothing. That’s what makes it so appealing to me and also what makes it sustainable. It was important to me to be able to enjoy the same meals as my family and not sit down with a salad every night while they enjoyed all the delicious foods I was dying to eat. Gil has equipped me with the tools to be able to eat anything guilt free, or as we call it, fearless eating!
I can’t recommend this program enough. There is no way to explain how, but it truly transforms your life. I felt stronger, more confident and more in control of my life than I have in a very long time. Mighty transformations is so much more than just a weight loss program, it’s a life improvement program.

positive review I was part of the Winter 2021 group, and it was an incredible experience. Prior to this program, I had tried so many different types of 'diets' and cleanses that never really worked. They were all about eliminating the 'bad' food, and left you with feelings of guilt. Not this program -- this program not only gives you results, it teaches you to look at food in a positive way. You can have your cake (or wine in my case), and eat it too -- you just need to plan for it. What I learned from the program is sustainable in my every day life -- all thanks to Gil's coaching. Gil is an excellent coach - second to none! We were quite a large group of 30, yet Gil was able to be there for all of us in each of our unique journeys. From the daily check-ins to the weekly personal videos, Gil was there every step of the way with words of encouragement and helpful tips. positive review I just finished the winter program and dropped 14 lbs (20 since I started following Gil!). I was kind of skeptical at first, but a friend of mine had success and recommended it. Once I realized that all he really preaches is that you can lose weight and still enjoy things you love I finally decided to join and invest in myself. I call him the King of Real Talk! A no nonsense, myth-busting and compassionate coach. Now I am certain that he should be charging double, if not triple what he does for the 12 week program! First of all it begins a good month before the start date; Gil has carefully crafted questions for you to answer, to really begin the peeling of layers to commence this very personal and rewarding journey. The transformation is not just physical but mental, emotional, and psychological. It's no diet pill or gimmick! Gil is not interested in your dollars; he genuinely cares and wants you to find the right formula for YOU, because we are all different and have different lifestyles and goals. He helped me surpass my goals and I am confident that he set me up for further success as I continue to apply everything I learned!
For me it was realizing I overeat due to stress and a weak environment (I.e. wasn't surrounding myself with the most nutritious options). I have two kids and over time my weight just kept climbing. I am way past post-partum so naturally I thought exercise or detoxes or cutting certain foods out would help, but I never had any luck. What's worse is that I accepted my weight gain being a result of wacky hormones or genetics. Luckily by the end of 2020 I was fed up and gave Mighty Transformation a shot! I'm so glad I did.
Gil and our amazing group taught me so much about myself, and really helped me be more mindful about what I eat. He puts in so much time on a daily basis to check in, keep us accountable, but also keep us smiling and laughing! I would say to any of those who is considering:
This program will provide you with tools and knowledge on how transform your mindset and change your relationship with food.
You will need to be engaged though in the process and learn how to be accountable for what you trying to achieve. And, you will not feel alone in the journey.
It helped me to separate all of my reasons why I wasn't successful in my previous attempts to take control of my weight and health and focus on what can I do to change my daily routine, my daily meals, my relationship with the food, and get self awareness about my surroundings, how and what helps me or otherwise.
Did I reach my initial objective? - Only half through. What I've gained though is respect to my current circumstances, and without stressing myself too much built up a confidence that I got right tools, right set of mind and amazing support group to have sustainable lifestyle.
12 weeks will go by very quickly. My results were not noticeable to me at first but when I saw close pictures from the beginning of the program and about 10 weeks through it was very satisfying comparison 👌 😊.

I want to express my gratitude to an amazing person who is the center of the wisdom and strength of the MT program - Gil.

I have friends who had already participated in the program, with incredible and lasting results, and because I know how shrewd and down to the earth they are, I had already decided the program was credible. After connecting with Gil, and expressing my challenges and goals, I had absolutely no doubt that he and Mighty Transformation were exactly what I had been looking for.
Of course, I wanted to lose weight, however my main goals were not centred around weight loss. My lifestyle was changing, the pandemic hit, and all of a sudden my old ways of getting back on track were no longer working. More than losing weight, I wanted to develop a blueprint that would work for me and my lifestyle without having to “get back on track” time after time… I was craving consistency and stability. As a busy realtor who is constantly on the go, loves to cook, LOVES to eat, doesn’t like to waste (food or money) and also needed on the road solutions, a program of food elimination, shakes, pills, teas or required exercise just wasn’t going to work for me. I’m also not the type to just blindly follow a formula, I prefer to know why and then develop my own formula that works best for me and my specific needs. Which is exactly you get with Gil and Mighty Transformation.
However, I was not at all prepared for the level of knowledge, support, encouragement, transparency, humour, customization and attention to detail received from Gil and the amazing women in my session. I was ready, I wanted to change my relationship with food, I wanted to understand my nutrition and I wanted to lose weight. Above all, I needed this to be sustainable. I knew it could be because several of my friends finished the program and had maintained their results 12 and 24 months after finishing the program! I am so used to gaining back the weight plus more!
What transpired was incredible! I became accountable for what I was eating, I learned and used tools to evaluate what I ate, I learned about dispelling weight loss myths, I learned how to nourish myself with whole foods that were nutrient dense but low in calories (Hello Veggies!). I also practiced patience, consistency and mindfulness. Oh and there were no restrictions whatsoever!
This was all done online with other like minded women and we supported one another and celebrated our achievements together.
Our coach Gil, is so incredible, he set up a safe environment where we could open up and confront our challenges together. He is meticulous and he is there to support you every single day. He presents information in a logical, easy to understand way and allows time for us to put it into practice.
My results after 12 weeks are a loss of 26.2 lbs and 8.5" from my waist and many inches off everywhere else! I have repaired my relationship with food, I've met some amazing women and I understand great things can happen with a positive attitude, showing up everyday and being consistent!

positive review As a mom to 2 pre-teen boys, my focus for the last 12 years has been on them – their wants, needs, health and well being. As each year passed, my weight slowly started to increase and I only recognized this a couple years ago. I started keto, and while it did wonders for me weight-wise, I wasn’t being myself, and I relied heavily on willpower to curb my desire for carbs.

I heard about the MT program through a friend. I honestly didn’t know much about the program at all, but trusted her when she said that I would do well in the program. I DID DO WELL … I lost exactly 15 lbs in 12 weeks, and inches off my body. Personally, that’s not the most important ‘Transformation’ for me.
The real beauty of Gil’s program is that you’re left with the knowledge and understanding of how to lose weight in your own unique way, with foods you truly enjoy. Each week he introduces a new lesson that you’re required to put into practice. By the end of the 12 weeks, you feel like you’ve been Miyagi’d*, and have been set up for success (*The Karate Kid).

positive review Wow!!! 12 weeks over just like that. Initially I thought it would take forever but it really flew by. I was so incredibly nervous at first wondering if I could take the steps necessary to “change” my mindset towards food. I always viewed food with a bit of fear in the sense that I never really knew if what I was eating was the “right” food. Especially with so much misinformation floating around and trends changing monthly on healthy vs non-healthy choices. Once I took the plunge and really invested in the program I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly my mindset shifted and I began to enjoy eating guilt free for the first time in years. I can not say enough good about Gil and his program. The education, support and encouragement each participant receives in a nonjudgmental, safe environment is at times overwhelming. I tend to be particular about the people I let into my circles and couldn’t be happier about getting aligned with such a great group and a coach who’s passionate about helping others navigate their way to success. positive review I am losing weight continuously with just the Calorie Deficit. I didn’t plan to hit my 130lbs goal on our 12th week because I was already sure that I will be able to achieve it even after MT. I didn’t deprive myself into anything. I didn’t work out. I was only having an average of 4,000 to 5,000 steps a day and it was alright. I wanted to see how my body will react. I am really amazed with the results. I lost a total of 18.3 lbs in 12 weeks!!! Incredible! Fantastic! Unbelievable🤩🤩🤩 I can’t describe it!
I feel sad that our program has ended. At first, I was shy and hated posting pics and doing the collage of my meals and myself.. but somehow during those past few weeks, I became comfortable. The reason I chose Mighty Transformation is because I was looking for a way to permanently take control of my weight, while still being able to go out and eat the foods I like. The Mighty Transformation program promises to help you create a formula with which you can do exactly that. Promises and delivers! It does this by having you develop habits that enable you to lose fat while enjoying life. You can enjoy any food and micronutrient you like, as long as you're accountable.
The information in the program is chopped up into small parts that are easy to understand and implement. This enables you to truly master the concepts and make fatloss simple and maintainable long term. It helps you figure out what works for you and your goals. For me personally this meant that I could lose weight while still following a high volume strenght program. All that is required is for you to show up every day.
After finishing this program I feel like I'm set for life. I know how to be accountable and this is the purpose of the program. I managed to drop 19lbs on this program as a consequence and my journey still continues.

What I like most about having Gil as a coach is that he changed my mindset about dieting without imposing anything! He saw my treats and never really made me feel bad about having a cookie, assorted desserts, rice or pizza! What I like about the program is that it allows me to lose fat while eating my favorite ‘junk’ food! It trained me to be accountable.
The program taught me not to focus as much on the weighing scale because it will constantly fluctuate, rather I based it on how my clothes fit me.

I really feel well equipped to maintain the key lessons you gave us, for the long term! I learned so much about little tricks that make the whole difference, especially learning to control my appetite… these are the key lessons I take from your program:
1. Recognizing when I get really hungry and when it is only thirst, that was a big changer for me… being truly mindful of my eating habits. An if I overeat, it’s ok, just continue the next day with the good habits.
2. How eating more protein can to curb my cravings, eating protein during the day and lots of veggies and in the evening my carbs- love that combo, I sleep great!
3. I learned about Intermittent Fasting and Calorie cycling - which helps me to have more control and gives more room to enjoy food in a more controlled way.
4. Budgeting my calories throughout the day… this was the great discovery for me: how it is possible to still indulge here and there but having an overall plan throughout the day on how to allocate the food groups. Beauty!
Looking at my start goals I can see that I still have some pounds to lose, but I feel that with these key lessons I will achieve my goal gradually - maybe slowly, but surely! And the most important, through a realistic approach. I believe that having a great relationship with food has a great impact in achieving a body-mind balance that extrapolates to other areas of our lives and this program has reinforced this belief! I’ve tried so many things over the past few years to lose weight. It almost seemed hopeless until recently. After seeing Gil’s posts online I thought to myself this will be my last attempt, I was hesitant but I went for it. Just for context, I had tried Jenny Craig, weight watchers, Isagenix, low carb diets, slimming teas + orange theory and countless others. So you can see after not attaining much results after all of that I didn’t think it was possible. I told myself that my metabolism had slowed down or I had a hormonal issue, none of which was true. I’m happy to say after Gil’s program I was able to lose close to 10 lbs and many inches around the waistline, chest & hips. I learned so much from Gil that I’m confident I can only continue soaring from here. I have the tools I need without the gimmicks and ongoing costs of these other programs. My good friend Saba told me about Gil Mesina and the mighty transformation program so I figured why not? I can use a coach to keep me accountable. Little did I know, Gil Mesina would do so much more than that! What I liked about the program is how gradual and realistic it was. I liked how it was paced. We witnessed our own food patterns and behaviors. And then the next step was to slowly reduce, and then slowly learning how to eat for our goals. Nothing was sudden or shocking. Everything was tangible and the fact that we were guided and not “told” how to eat really makes a difference in the long run! I was so happy about that because that’s the only way for it to be sustainable. I’m beyond happy with this program honestly. Gil Mesina is an amazing coach! I have learned so much form Coach Gil and the members of our group. There are so many opinions on nutrition and Coach Gil breaks it down into bite size pieces!!!
I lost 23.1 lbs but more importantly I reduced pressure off my back which was my “why” for doing the program. With my weight loss, it equals 98.2lbs of pressure off my back.
Each day I keep seeing improvements in my health overall. This is the best feeling ever. This week by far is the best my back has felt in 6 years.
Key learnings:
The volume and weight of food are not the same. This was a game changer for me.
Accepting I am how much I eat. I was overeating in areas I didn’t even realize and the awareness I learned is so valuable.
I have tools to now manage my weight. I was worried about losing the weight only to turn around and gain it back again. Not this time. Not only have I lost over 23lbs, I have the tools to know how to manage my weight going forward. And this includes no restrictions of any sort.
The program - I loved the check ins especially in every meal at the beginning. I also felt supported knowing Coach Gil was there, and the group too. Although I was anxious to get all the program details I am glad Coach Gil layered it weekly as it helps to digest the information and adopt new ways of thinking and behaving.
Coach Gil’s availability during the program was outstanding. I always felt connected and supported. I am amazed at how he can keep everything straight. Coach Gil‘s strength is how he connects with people and being able to engage in a manner that motivates action and change.

positive review I joined Mighty Transformation’s Genesis Program a couple of years back after giving birth to twin girls and while training for a Spartan race. Gil is very knowledgeable and really threw all my diet/nutrition misconceptions out the door! He’s very supportive and creates an amazing environment for me and my group to learn together and from each other. I live in the Philippines and I thought the distance and time difference would be a disadvantage but Gil really adjusted and was very persistent in helping me get the hang of the program and fit my Filipino diet in. I now have a more open approach to my diet, I don’t need to have special meals different from my family’s, I dont deprive myself but still keep on track and I no longer have a love hate relationship with weight loss. I would really recommend this program to everybody who thinks they’re stuck in their weight loss journey especially to mom’s like me who have to deal with post partum weight gain. ☺️☺️

positive review I’ve just completed the Fall Genesis program & lost 33 lb in 12 weeks!
Before starting I actually did not know anyone that had used Gil as a coach. But I kept seeing his posts about the program or his clients & I was interested in learning more.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would possible for me to lose this much weight in 12 weeks!!!! I had said about 20lb for my goal, but realistically maybe more like 10lb, since this involved ZERO exercise & I have always done exercise + healthy eating hand in hand. To me it still doesn't make sense how I lost this much, but I was definitely proved wrong... I was very skeptical of a nutrition only approach for fat loss. It ended up being a mathematical calculation & I love math: just eat in a slight calorie deficit, with the majority of calories from nutrient dense whole foods. I was 100% confident that Gil had a gimmick & that I would catch him once I joined the program. Once again I was proven wrong. Who would have thought the the least complicated, least restrictive program would lead to the easiest results for me. I learned to eat smarter finally & make food work for me, which feels very empowering! I did not exercise because of an injury, but started walking more & moving better, less hip & knee pain. I've been to the gym just a few times to get familiar with the exercises for the next Summit program, but going slowly because it's been 1 year off from the gym.
The mental changes for me have been a happy surprise. It was wonderful to learn that we didn't have to cut out the foods we loved that were before considered "bad". Also the program was able to accommodate so many different ethnic foods, we didn't all have to eat the same thing! Our program started the end of September, but already for Thanksgiving I felt more calm regarding thinking about what foods I would be eating & able to enjoy with almost zero guilt! That is because Gil was prepping us the whole week ahead, letting us know it’s ok to enjoy our regular foods, we just have to be accountable. I know this is the easiest, least restrictive program that I have ever tried. In the past with different diet programs or personal trainers I have been told to eat as low as 1200cal per day ...while exercising. Most other programs max 1500cal.... while exercising. And then there is Gil's program where I was eating at least 2000cal...without exercise & still losing fat. I am feeling confident that I can still keep things up after the program is done because it is all just knowledge, not tools that are limited to the program so thanks again Gil for how you have designed this program. Also I am realistic & acknowledge the fact that there will still be some ups & downs in my weight, but I am predicting they won't be as drastic as before, because I know if I focus on my nutrition I can get back on track. I won't have to resort to extreme amounts of exercise in combination with restrictive cal to achieve it.
I have learned so many useful tools with this program. How to eat more mindfully, how to control my portions, macro targets. Gil, you are such a wonderful coach. Easy-going & encouraging, not a drill sergeant. Thank you for doing this with us side-by-side with your own meals & progress reports. I can't imagine other coaches posting their own daily reports in addition to keeping track of all the clients'. We had a great group of women to learn from each other & inspire each other in different areas both inside & outside the scope of the program! It was really nice to be in this as a group & get support from each other!
The only thing to improve would be if we all lived closer to each other so we could have met up a couple times!
I’m a single mom & I feel this is 1 of the best risks I’ve taken lately. It has improved my mood, given me more energy to run after my kids. My kids want me to keep Coach Gil around for a long time! It ended up being such an awesome end to 2019 for me thanks to this program❤️

positive review After I had my two kids I have struggled so much to the weight and shape I was before! I’ve tried so many different type of diets and exercises. But nothing seem to work! There was one time that it did work but Because I got depressed and I was starving myself! But i wasn’t going to live my life like that! Then I got diagnosed with thyroid cancer and thank God I beat it. But that lead me to think that I was gaining weight because of that so I started going to a nutritionist! I just completed the Mighty Transformation program this summer and I am honestly speechless. Gil made me feel as if I was his only client and had his undivided attention. Anytime I’d ask a question, he would respond back within minutes. Why? Because he cares. He wants you to get healthy and eat the right amount of calories (and having fun doing it)! He’s supportive, inspirational, and extremely kind and I’ve learned so much about myself this summer.
I never once felt restricted- in fact I never once felt guilty drinking wine, eating chips, cookies, and ice cream. I have become more mindful of what I’m taking in on a daily basis and I’ve learned how to still eat everything I enjoy (clearly)😊The best part is you don’t even have to go to the gym. Go because you want to get strong, de-stress, and relax your mind.
For all those that are wondering if it’s hard to do on vacation or while traveling for work/ not at all. I was on a cruise (all you can eat) and lost 2 pounds. I travel a lot for work and would plan my meals and had Gil by my side helping me with what to order and eat. I still enjoyed and kept on with the program. Don’t let traveling be an excuse. If I can do it, believe me- anyone can!!

positive review Gil, I need to thank you for putting this program together and bringing me this opportunity to learn to control my own life! Up until about midway through the MT program, I still had this impression that to make an actual change to my body, it would take a year or more, and it would take a lot of exercise, eating “clean”, and just generally a lot of restrictions. I never thought it would be so simple. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not easy, but the concepts are just so common sense you could never imagine they’d work so effectively.
Through MT, I’ve changed my way of thinking about food – I’m not scared of it anymore. I remember before I started the program, I would feel guilty every time I ate, because I felt like I was only adding to the problem, but I am now more in control than ever, and I will never go back to that feeling. I’ve updated my habits to actually be beneficial to my life, instead of adding to my unhappiness.
Overall, I’m happier, more confident, well-fed, and I have to say MT even affected my relationships – the people around me have been so supportive, and it’s allowed me to delve deeper into friendships and even my relationship, seeing how involved they’ve become.

positive review I had wanted to do the program right after the birth of my second child but it took me longer than I wanted to be ready to join. I pushed through some challenges and joined and I’m so happy that I did.
I was an athlete before having my children so I thought it would be so easy to lose the weight I had put on during my pregnancies but month after month I struggled to lose even just a few pounds.
With the program I was able to change the way I ate but most importantly the WAY I ate. I wasn’t restricted in the way I thought I had to be. He taught us essential habits that will sustain us long after the program ends. I know it’s not just about the number on the scale and though that’s still important to me, i know it’s a process that will take time. In twelve weeks I’ve been able to fit back into the clothes I had before being pregnant and that’s a huge win for me!

After struggling to reach my desired weight for a few years at one point in time I was very frustrated and didn’t know what else to try since nothing was working for me. positive review Before Mighty Transformation, I spent over 6 years on weight loss programs that didn’t work for me. I harboured poor eating habits which only led me to more weight gain. I had a habit of checking my weight everyday on the scale and it drove me bananas. I was disrespecting food; I saw it as means to indulge as opposed to a source of energy. It was both a mental and physical battle. I was tangled by the myths of food and nutrition At times I felt hopeless and uncertain about the future of my health.
Mighty Transformation opened my eyes to the secret of weight loss: Consistency in Mindful Eating, Eating needs before wants, keeping one accountable for their food in take. Since the program started, I barely went to the gym or did exercise.
I started prioritizing my nutrients over my indulgence. I even find that I don’t engage in have as many treats as I want to. And when I do indulge I don’t fuss as much.
It’s really no BIG deal.
What I liked about the program is that it protected everyone from insult or self criticism. It encouraged the brick by brick mentality as opposed to building a wall in a day. I like the positive safety net that my coach, Gil created. He could easily relate to our struggles and provided encouragement
I like how Genesis encourages one to be accountable and make changes often. It’s a game of flexibility. The weekly reports were more a reflection to me and helping make better nutrition choices. The articles provided were insightful and thought provoking. They helped me see food and nutrition in a different lighting.
I thought Gil was spectacular coach. ALWAYS checking in on me, ALWAYS keeping me accountable and ALWAYS throwing suggestions. He ALWAYS SHOWED UP. I think he leads by example and is one very kind person. The response videos he provided in the weekly reports were up close and personal. He was committed to my success and CONSISTENT with keeping me informed and providing encouragement. His honesty was a necessity and it serves him well when helping clients succeed. His patience worked wonders and reinforced those who were challenged by the traits of the program or life in general.

I use to rely on working out to lose weight but with thr addition to the family it's been difficult to get to the gym. Working out 20+ years was my way to maintain and lose weight. Since I had no more time, the pounds started increasing. By the end of the session, I lost 10 pounds without even working out! Now I know how to lose the weight and/or maintain. All I heard and experienced before was based on restrictions: no carbs, no sugar, no eating after 5. positive review What can I say. This is the most weight I’ve ever lost in my entire life, and that’s no exaggeration. Just want to say how grateful I am to Gil for being the calming presence that was required throughout the whole process. Never judging, never scolding, never panicking. Instead, virtually holding my hand along the entire process. There were days, especially towards the end, where I felt like quitting due to a slowing of results. But Gil’s encouragement, and scientific, evidence-based explanations kept me plugging away.
What I’m truly grateful for is the knowledge I’m now armed with. Before this program, I honestly believed that some foods should be labelled “bad” and avoided at all costs. So when I’d eventually succumb to temptation and eat these “bad” foods, I would hate myself afterwards. Gil taught me that there are no such things as “bad” foods….only bad portions ;). As long as you’re accountable, and plan ahead, you can eat anything you want.
Although the program is officially over, I don’t feel like this is the end of the road. Quite the opposite, really. WIth my newly acquired knowledge, I’m now armed with enough information to continue this journey. I don’t necessarily need a set numeric goal. But instead, the goal is to continue to learn, continue to improve, and continue to feel proud of my accomplishments.

Transformation, not only physically but also mentally which I think trumps the weight loss (though losing weight and the inches is awesome lol). I came out of the program with such a happier mindset towards food. Past diet was about not eating this and that, so I was brainwashed into thinking certain food as "bad". To me this program has been incredible. when I first heard about it I did not really think much about it. But as I started to get focus in my life and slowly become more active for a healthier life style. I reached out to the MT Team. I just finished the summer program for 2018. It has been one incredible journey.
It has changed my perspective on the way I look at food. I do not feel guilty for having chicken wings =). I do not feel bad for enjoying a good night of drinking with friends. What this program has done for me was to teach me how to prepare for days like that.

positive review I thought I knew a lot before joining this program. But I actually learned more than what I knew. I lost more weight faster than I would usually doing it on my own. I was more patient, much more motivated and struggled less. Doing the old school ways such as dieting with 5-6 meals a day and eating very clean made it so hard for me to lose weight. I couldn't stick to it which made me plateau for so long.
This program made me drop about 17 lbs pounds starting at 222 lbs down to 205 lbs. I also learned that eating clean doesn't always help with losing weight. Gils program guides you with your meals daily, how to calorie count and recommends better meals. Thanks gil for everything!!

One of the many things I appreciate about MIghty Transformation (MT) is community. Even though the course is done remotely and online, you would never feel alone, the daily end of week reports keeps everyone in the loop and the information or tips of the day will give you more knowledge. This isn’t one of those programs where you appear and then vanish once it ends, Gil does a great job making you feel welcome and keep more than just a personal relationship through group outings.

Making the decision to do this program was one the best thing I did for myself. Back on 2014, we made a decision to move from up North to Sunny Florida and pretty much life happen. I was referred to Gil by a friend after I had seen her amazing transformation and progress, that I contacted Gil to see if I could join the program. For the last couple of years and most particularly last year, I was struggling with my body image and my relationship with food. I thought I was doing the right things like exercising and "eating right", and yet, I wasn't toning or losing weight. Through this program, I have learned so much and realized that it wasn't about doing a ton of exercise and killing myself to "earn calories", or restricting my diet and not able to enjoy what I like, but it was about being aware of what you were eating and how much you were eating, and being consistent. After having completed the program, I can say that it was the best thing I have done for myself. Ive been weight lifting for 7 years, doing mma for 3 years, trying all kinds of diet and it simply didnt give me the result i wanted. It all didnt seem to make sense.

I wasn't just a number and there wasn't a mold that they tried to stuff me in. I'm currently down 57lbs since January and it's been two weeks since my program ended. At the end of the program I was down 54lbs. This just shows me that they not only changed me physically but mentally too. I didnt feel locked down to a scheduled diet or workout regimen. I took this program in the Fall of 2017 and since then I have never been happier.
I feel great about what I accomplished in the program, what I learned about myself and my eating habits. But best of all I feel great about how I look.
Coach Gil really knows his stuff and really cuts out all the BS you hear online from friends and family and from so called experts.
His program is really simple. Show up every day, read and think about how his posts relate to you and share your daily posts and thoughts with the group.
It really is that simple. There are no meal plans, no need for vitamins and pills. He really does make sure you are have your cake and eat it too.
You really just have to be accountable for what you are eating. But the whole time, during his program there is no stress, and no hunger. 🙂
Once you are in his program his response time for questions concerns or updates a lot better than what you would think. He is does a great job of keeping up with your posts. If you are looking to lose weight, and learn about how your body reacts to food. You should really sign up for this program. And if you are unsure about it. Follow the Mighty Transformation on social media or on the Mighty Transformation website.
